Two Thousand years later, and Jesus has almost been turned into a mythological character. We have been bombarded with fanciful and inaccurate information when it comes to Jesus and his teachings. We have grown up and promulgated children's books, comic books, cartoons, drawings, TV, movies and videos depicting Jesus and God, all creating false imagery, ideas and idols (icons), leading to wonderment and then to doubt, distrust, disbelief and finally denial . . . so sad, we have lost touch with the GREATEST EVENT in human history. Jesus has become another interesting story of mythological proportions. The name 'Jesus' and his teachings have been so minimalized by the "powers-to-be", such that anyone talking about Jesus is "some kind-of religious nut"; people are even attacked verbally, and sometimes with physical aggression. Most people shut down and turn away when they hear the name 'Jesus'.
We have been cleverly deceived. Two thousand years later - every mouth on the planet should be giving thanks to God for sending his son, Jesus - but they're not! Someone hasn't been doing their "works" by fulfilling the Will of God here on Earth as it is being fulfilled in Heaven.
Jesus is not mythological. The historical and religious evidence of Jesus' existence are both widespread and long established in comprehensive detail - "Jesus walked the Earth 2,000 years ago in the Greatest Ever performance of God's existence".
The Jewish religion recognizes Jesus' existence, as does Islam and the multitude of Christian religions. There are historical tablets, scrolls and books galore, from several different nations of the time, testifying to the real-life existence of Jesus. So why isn't GOD and the Ways of God the cornerstone of our planet?
It's one thing to look back at and revere the great minds that have led to fantastic developments in science, technology, psychology, etc. - but why do most all the people on the planet minimize and/or ignore the GREATEST EVENT in human history? One man, Jesus, unlike anyone before or since - walked on water, cast out demons and devils, fed thousands with a couple of fish and a loaf of bread, made the blind to see (even those born blind), healed lepers, made the deaf to hear, the lame to walk and the mute to talk, healed the sick (even at a distance), turned water into wine, healed a withered hand, reattached a severed ear and multiple cases of bring the dead back to life (even after 4 days); then Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven in front of the apostles, all in accordance with the prophecies of the Hebrew scriptures. "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written everyone, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written." (John 21:25)
Can your priest, preacher, minister, guru, master, yogi, and so on and so forth, men in fine arainment, skilled in the "crafts" of their religions and teachings, is there one who can do even a fraction of what Jesus did - no. All they can do is generate "phenomena".
God prepared the way and send Jesus to Earth to perform so many miracles, the likes of which had never been seen before, nor since, that we would know the true God. Jesus is the one, the messiah, signed and sealed by the great many miracles God performed through his son, as foretold by the Hebrew prophets, that we may be where he is now by following in the examples of Jesus, actively preparing our self in righteousness, so God can return us back home to Heaven.
The greatest evidence of Jesus' existence exists in the fact that twelve apostles endured horrendous persecution, facing many evils, eventually being imprisoned, tortured and executed by beheading or crucifixion, for spreading the Teachings of Jesus. They literally gave their lives for what they knew to be true - it wasn't a belief.
Be deceived no more. Come, apply these teachings of Jesus to effect the changes necessary to become born again of a sound righteous mind - your ticket out of here.
