PSYCHIC SPIRITS

In the Spirit World time is not divided into hours, days, weeks, months or years as it is here on earth; time is Eternal. Thus the statement, "A day in the Psychic Realms of Darkness can seem as a thousand days, while a thousand days in the Realms of Light seem as but a day."

There is an infinite variety of spirits which exist in the Psychic Realm and, in a word, they no more resemble each other than the people of earth do. These spirits, like the men of earth, range from the savage to the most knowledgeable in earthly affairs. Now then, what we should keep in mind is that if experience is necessary to judge earthly men, it is even more necessary to judge these spirits.

Deception by these spirits is easy since the discarnate entity, functioning on a higher plane than the earth plane, has the advantage and all the means at its disposal, to see and to know things on a vastly larger scale than can the physical man. Thus, such entities can masquerade as any person called by the Medium or the inquirer.

And remember this, Psychic Spirits are only perfect in degrees, for perfection belongs to the Gods and Goddesses above their realm, to those Blessed Ones of Light.

Yes, people need to understand that these Psychic Spirits of Darkness, with whom Mediums communicate, do not know everything; far from it. While some of these spirits are smarter than others, these Psychic spirits cannot give you the true knowledge, wisdom and understanding of the Spirit Realms of Light. Spiritual truths of Light can only come through your Father or Mother, and the Blessed Ones of Light which art in Heaven. Yes, so far as these Psychic Spirits fall short of "UNION" with their Higher Self in infinite Wisdom - just as far are they imperfect.

It is the Psychic Spirits who develop and utilize a Medium's psychic powers. Of course it is the Medium's free choice to be used in such a manner. But sometimes after the spirit has developed the Medium's powers, they are not able to use these "gits" and then they have to summon the assistance of some other spirit of darkness who can. However, as soon as any Medium ceases to be useful, the spirits disassociate themselves from him or her to seek new channels.

Now, since every event is the result of a previous cause and all causes are preserved in the Akashic Records of Nature, the discarnate entities who have the knowledge and ability to read these records can, therefore, see the events which are to come about in the life of the inquirer on the physical plane. Yes, the spirit entity sees future events based on the past harmonious, motivated and just results of our previous and present actions, feelings and thoughts. But the question becomes, "Can these entities convey this information in such a manner as we will understand them?" And can the Medium convey the spirit entities communication to you exactly as received? And how good are these entities at reading these records? And how do the personal feelings of both the Medium and the entity come into play? And even though we have the Free Choice to directly or indirectly change these future outcomes, are there not some things which we must endure to help us along in our Spiritual Evolution? etc? etc? etc?

What reliance then can be placed on a communication originating from a spirit of imperfect wisdom? What confidence can a mind exercise when not under the direct control of its God or Goddess? How many Mediums are, or ever have been, under such control?

Mediums would do well to concentrate their minds on the higher spirits of Light, their own God or Goddess (who is capable of telling them something which they do not know), instead of consulting with those no wiser than themselves. For all "revelation" comes through the higher spirits of Light, those Divine Agencies who are the Blessed Ones of Light, Love, Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding. These Spirit Beings of Light are the Agents of the Light who have the Real Wisdom of God to give.

Yes, infinite wisdom is disclosed in the infinity of God's work, but what Psychic Spirit can comprehend that which it has not yet seen or experienced? What Psychic Spirit has surveyed that Light which has no limit? And if these Psychic Spirits have not seen the infinite Light, how can they impart to others that which they themselves cannot comprehend? How can those Spirits of Darkness describe what they have not seen, or make known those Spiritual Truths of Light which they do not know?

Evil Spirits, Demons, Devils, Psychic Spirits, or whatever name you choose to call these spirits from the realms of darkness, are simply spirits who have not as yet been awakened to their own Light within, or if they have seen that Light within, they have not as yet Chosen to exercise their Free Choice to follow that Light of their God or Goddess. For as you leave this world, so shall you enter into the next. No one waves a magic wand and upon death transforms you into an Angel; YOU HAVE TO EARN YOUR WINGS!

The identity of any spirit is of great importance. Jesus says, "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of the Light or not. If the knowledge they bring is of the Light, and Life in the Light, then these are the true spirits who have your welfare in mind. For only those of the Light know of those things concerning the Light and to whom soever they choose to make those things known, as They must guard the entrance. The remainder of the spirits know not of the Light, but only know of earth earthly things which are of no value to any one when they reach the Spirit World. If the knowledge they bring is earth earthly - BEWARE! . . . waste not your time."

And then some Mediums are of unbound personal egotism, facing the idea that their spirit guides cannot be anything other than the most exalted personages: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Jesus, etc. However, such is not usually the case except in the most rare instances. A spirit can feel the full force of a Medium's egotistical thought-desire, and can immediately respond thereto by fulfilling this mental idea. Thus even Jesus and Buddha have been impersonated by impersonal controls who easily deceive Mediums.

Also spirits who know how can undergo transformations in appearance to suit your thoughts. However, NO SPIRIT can undergo the "Transfiguration" that Jesus demonstrated on the Mount of Olives unless They are of the Light. Yes, there Jesus maintained his physical appearance while he changed the atoms of his astral body into the Pure White Substance of Light from which everything in this Universe and the next is made of or created from.

REMEMBER: In the Beginning God said, "Let there be Light," and from that Light Substance He created everything that was created: and there is nothing created which has not been created from the Light!

THE PSYCHIC REALM

Geographically, the Psychic Realm is the place, plane, stratum, or region adjacent to and surrounding the earth. Upon death of the physical body the soul is released to this Realm where billions of disembodied Spirits already exist.

The Psychic Realm is the Doorway to Eternity and is the place where most all enter regardless of creed, dogma, denomination, riches, poverty, worldly power, and so forth. In this realm between the material or now visible world and the true spiritual realms of Light (Heaven), the soul manifests according to how its mortal mind was functioning when it left the body. Yes, there we all go to be screened and allocated to our place of Spirit existence according to the true contents of our Heart's desires while in the physical body.

Now you might be wondering, "Are there any exceptions to this rule of screening?" - and we answer: "YES!"

For each spirit's Spiritual Progress is shown by the brilliance of it's spiritual Light it has acquired while in the earth body, based on the extent of that Spirit's Desire & Effort put forth to attain Spiritual Unfoldment. In cases of this kind, the Light plainly shows the Spirit's state of progression it worked for and attained, and thus that spirit is entitled to be placed in a Realm of Light according to its vibration. So then, upon death of the physical body, these spirits vibrate to their realm of Light where they are met by spirits of like vibration. Yes, upon death of the physical body, such a spirit is escorted through the Psychic Realm to that Realm of Light which it has earned by its WORKS. Then, from its realm of Light, that spirit can visit the Psychic or Lower Realms, including the earth, by simply lowering its already heightened vibration. However, that spirit cannot go into a Higher Realm of Light than its own, until it has further increased its vibrational level by attaining more Light: which is attained through Spiritual Knowledge AND Service.

Again we come back to the words of Jesus, "Seek ye FIRST the Light of your God," and further explain the reason that this is the FIRST THING you must do "Because the Light is channelled to you from your God during the process of Spiritualizing your Physical Consciousness which automatically opens by degrees the floodgates of the Light from your God." Then it is this Light, or lack of Light which makes your spirit's soul Light brighter or dimmer. In other words, when your physical consciousness aspires to and attains spiritual unfoldment, the spiritual light you draw to yourself during this process is stored in the spirit soul part of you. Then when the spirit soul steps out of the body, you can see the difference between the bright light of those who have attained, and the dim spirit light of those who did not attempt to aspire, and lived a purely material life. It is in this latter case that those spirits are not entitled to anything they did not WORK for, and their heavenly mansion will be found in the Psychic Realm.

Yes, any spirit that does not WORK to attain more and more Light will find itself in the Psychic Realm until it decides to progress through Desire & Effort to attain greater Spirituality. Or like many spirits do that are seemingly satisfied to live in the Psychic Realm, which is not unlike the earth except that you do not have a physical body, there they remain for quite some time. But now you ask, "How long?" Well, that depends on your Desires and Actions in that level of the Psychic Realm in which you are placed, as each person, male or female, is a God or Goddess, each having Free Choice concerning his personal affairs. However, we do find from observation that in a course of time, one either progresses or drops to a lower level than the level he or she was in. In other words, you will progress spiritually on the other side, or your earthly Desires will draw you closer and closer to the earth realm until your earthly Desires become so strong that you will incarnate again here on earth.

Yes, unless you Progress Spiritually, you will hover more and more in the earth realm until the desires of the earth become so strong that you will find reimbodiment is the only answer as second hand satisfaction is not enough. By that we mean the aroma of strong drink, the aroma of food, sex, and the many other earthly things. For as Jesus says in Matthew 6:21, "For where your treasure is there will your heart be also." So back into the body you go for another round of earthly experiences, which you could have avoided had you applied Jesus' teachings in this latest embodiment.

Between the ordinary materialistic human and the highly advanced spiritual heavens there is the Psychic Realm. Many people think, and most Mediums do likewise, that the Psychic Realm is Heaven - but it is not. It is not even a Realm of Light although some in that realm may wish you to believe it is. It is more appropriately likened to a "melting pot" such as we term some larger cities here on earth where all types of people seem to be drawn for one reason or another.

There are also other realms below the Psychic Realm, including the earth realm, of which the lowest is the Bottomless Pit. In this Realm known as the Bottomless Pit are those who, while in their earth bodies, did cause other people in their own earth bodies, who were poor and groping in Darkness, to be placed in dungeons in so many parts of the earth down through the ages. The Bottomless Pit also contains the spirits of those who placed others in dungeons while in physical forms, and then refused these people food until these poor souls reached the point where they would start to eat each other, which we now see these cruel spirits doing in that Bottomless Pit. Yes, the Bottomless Pit is the reward for those in power who take their fellow man's freedom to live, and cause him suffering without judging. It would seem from the events of the World around, that the Bottomless Pit will not run out of tenants for some time.

If those power hungry rulers of nations and the power hungry politicians only knew the penalty awaiting them in the Realms of Spirit for using living souls as pawns, or poker chips, or footballs in their national and international affairs, they would think twice before using their power of might, and perhaps turn to the Light. Truly then they would be their "Brother's Keeper." Recalling Jesus' statement in the last Little Book, "Jesus' Church of Truth and Light" . . . "Rule by might, Never, rule by Light, Eternal."

So much for that realm, the Bottomless Pit. But there is a lesson that can be learned by all of us and that is, if we want to avoid trouble to any degree in the world of spirit to come, DO NOT take man's freedom of progression from him or cause him to suffer. Either of these actions interfere with what the Blessed Ones of Light are trying to establish in this earth realm, and that is the Brotherhood of man and the Sisterhood of woman in Singleness of Purpose.

Many who now reside in the Psychic and Lower Spirit Realms never knew of Life after Death, and were very surprised to find themselves alive in Spirit after the death of the physical body. Also, there are many now in earth bodies who know not of life after death and never heard of their eternal higher self, yet they live a good life, obeying the man-made laws, going to that church made by hands, and never hurting anyone (that they know of). However, because they know NOT of Their God or Goddess, as previously described, they can continue this same type of life IN THE PSYCHIC REALM!

Yes, many of those in spirit do not know of anything higher than the Psychic Realm in which they now live. And just as there is a veil which separates the Psychic Realm from the Realms of Light, there is also a veil which separates this earth world from the Psychic Realm and all the other realms of Light and Darkness. This latter veil is a blessing to most in the physical body, for you cannot begin to imagine what a bedlam it is with thousands of confused spirits pouring into these realms of darkness every hour of every day.

And now, Between this earth realm and the realms of Light, there is the Psychic Realm which is conducive to Mediumship and its pitfalls and dangers. Many in earth bodies desire this type of spirit sight, but they haven't the slightest idea of the dangers in contacting these psychic and lower realms. Yes, people are entertained, fascinated, and self-hypnotized by the various conditions of the psychic realm, and it is because of the attention to and subtle fascination of the psychic realm that mankind is today as a mass of children needing much help.

The Desire for and fascination of Psychic phenomena is a feeling - a very subtle feeling - by which it holds the attention of the personality away from the acknowledgement, permanent acceptance, and continual communion with its higher God-self. If you are involved in this Psychic phenomena, realize now that you have made a mistake, and by intense DESIRE call to your Father and the Blessed Ones of Light, asking that you be liberated and released completely. For in order to perceive the Spiritual we must forge through the Psychic Realm to the Realms of Light. Yes, all aspiring to the true spiritual knowledge must force their way through the psychic realm before the spiritual is perceived. Reading Jesus' words in Luke 16:16, "The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the Kingdom of God (the Father) is preached, and every man presseth into it."

Within the Psychic Realm of thought and feeling is contained those creations of humanity generated by their discordant thoughts, feelings, and words from their outer activity and/or personal consciousness; the principle activity of what we know as the sinister force in this world. The Forces within this realm work most directly upon our feeling of nature, and this especially means upon the passion of the individual, because it is the most easily reached.

Yes, men and women, when they have lost the controlling power over their passion (which may mean either sex or anger) they have knowingly or unknowingly become entangled in the Psychic Realm of thought and feeling, thereby opening wide the doors of the beautiful Temple of their God. Forces, then through the open door, fasten upon you, intensifying your own passion into an uncontrolled condition, which might otherwise have been controlled.

So it is through conscious thought of the knowledge of these truths, and the control of your emotions, that you shut the door to these most dangerous and subtle suggestions from the psychic realm which is the most unrecognized enemy and vicious activity of the sinister force in this world of ours: the power Jesus called "Satan."

To one who forces his way into these realms without first making contact with the Light of their Father or Mother by Spiritualizing his Physical Consciousness, he will find he can open the door of his mind between the two worlds but may not be able to close it. The result may be a constant contact with any type of Spirit in those realms which in time can cause obsession of that Medium, after which comes a form of insanity, and even criminal acts take place if the obsessing spirit desires to carry them out. One is indeed fortunate to go through life safely as a practising Medium. And it is this type of Medium that has caused some to call Spiritism the "religion of the devil."

Whereas from our observation, the denomination known as "Spiritualism" knows of life eternal, and in the best way they know how, they are trying to teach the people of spirit life and the knowledge of enjoying communion with their departed ones while they are still here in the body.

Yes, people force their way into making contact with these realms without the dependable protection of their Father (or Mother) Who knows how, and will protect you from the hordes of spirits trying to send messages to their kin still in earth bodies.

Give no attention to the phenomena of Psychic seeing or hearing, but push directly through that realm and into the Light where only truth is expressed. Understand that what is called the psychic realm has nothing whatsoever to do with Spirituality. It is a faculty of the human consciousness which can be brought into play by human beings who will give sufficient attention to it. The individual who wishes to reach into the Psychic Realm above, either consciously or unconsciously, would be better never to have been born into this embodiment.

There is nothing good nor permanent within the psychic realm, and that is why mankind needs the Wisdom of the Blessed Ones of Light to raise them once more into the understanding of the Light which is the only means of release from the Darkness of the Earth's present chaos. Nothing of the Light comes from the Psychic Realm, regardless of any seeming evidence to the contrary.

Attention to the activities of the Psychic Realm depletes the personal self of the energy and the ability required to reach to its God's source and anchor there permanently. Yes, from the psychic realm, the suggestions given offer just enough truth (as you perceive truth to be) to anchor your interest and hold your attention until the psychic forces get a good hold on your person. Of course this is easily accomplished through your fascination with the phenomena itself. Oh if only those people could see that after the attention becomes fixed in this realm, that everyone without exception would find that their original semblance of truth would slowly but surely begin to disappear. And sometimes this psychic influence is cunning enough to hide itself from the outer world (you) for a long time, thus carrying on its nefarious work, as it thinks, in secret.

Fascination in the phenomena of the psychic realm is most alluring and anchors one's attention in that psychic realm so firmly that hardly anyone can loosen himself from it in this embodiment, and it may take several more embodiments to free himself of this fixation. Yes, once enmeshed in the Psychic sphere, you are often bound for many embodiments because you make records within your mental worlds from which you do not know how to extricate yourself. Consequently, you will be born again with these same tendencies (karma) until after the second or third embodiment, when you become one of the depraved creatures that you see about you wherever you go.

There are different ways of attaining Mediumship, depending on what type you want. If you want the type that permits contact with the Psychic or Lower Realms, you will not find it in this Little Book . . . AND we advise you to stay away from it for Spirituality does not exist there!

However, if you want "Spiritual Mediumship," and not just Spirit Mediumship, then all you have to do is to follow the instructions contained within this Little Book, or any of the other Little Books of Jesus', and you will attain Spiritual Mediumship. This means that you will be able to contact the Spirits of Light by tunnelling through the Psychic Realm to the Realms of Light in which They dwell.

So seek ye FIRST the Light Within by Spiritualizing your Physical Consciousness, and after this life you will have attained enough Light to visit any Realm of Darkness below your Realm of Light without danger. But we cannot conceive of any one from the Realms of Light wanting to go into the Psychic or Lower Realms, unless to give assistance.

So if you want to become just a spirit Medium and use these lesser skills for commercial purposes, then you must contact the Realms of Turmoil which are the Psychic and Lower Realms. For it is information from these spirit realms that most of the people want, consisting of messages from their dear ones, and/or just spirit phenomena of any description.

In connection with the above, Jesus says, "If the Desire be just to contact any Spirit from any Realm, just for the purpose of getting spirit return for earthly gain, then that is out of the category of Prophecy and at best is not very reliable. This type of person should remember that I, Jesus, forsook not the Light when much was offered. For all True Prophets keep close to the Light. True Prophecy (revelation) comes only through the Light. This means that the Blessed Ones of Light, in spirit, bring the Truths to the Prophets, or take him or her to the place where the Truth is obtainable."

The main point of protection for a psychic realm Medium is to have a dependable Guide, Teacher, or Doctor in the spirit side of life. This is for his own protection. These Guides are sometimes called the DOORKEEPER to the Medium's mind. This Doorkeeper is needed, especially if a Medium works in public or large gatherings where many relatives are attracted from the Land of Spirit and make a mad rush to get their message to their loved ones. These Guides in charge of their earthly Mediums are always located in the psychic realm, as no spirit can go into a Higher Realm than its home. And as more Spirits are in the Psychic Realm than in any other realm, that is what we call the office of the Medium's Guide. However, many spirits from the Realms of Light do come down to the psychic realm to bring their words of Love and their Blessings for their loved ones still in the bodies. And what a difference in communication between One from the Realms of Light, and those from the Psychic Realm.

Yes, on the High Planes of activity, there are Great and Beautiful Souls who volunteer to go into these Psychic and Lower Realms to help, through their radiation, to break the Force's hold upon Humanity. There are those of the Light placed in the psychic and lower realms, even the bottomless pit, to assist any one who DESIRES progression. But, many would rather hover close to the earth and its attractions and relatives, than to put forth the necessary EFFORT to progress into a Realm of Light.

We often hear of people speaking of earth-bound spirits, which is true; but they are only bound to the earth by their own will, and not by anyone in an earth body. While some Mediums will tell you not to grieve for or mentally hold onto a loved one who has passed into the spirit land, for if you do you will cause them to be earth-bound, don't pay any attention to that kind of advice . For if that spirit wants to progress, it will do so regardless of any earthly ties. And REMEMBER Jesus' statement in Luke 18:29 where He says, "Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more (Light) in this present time, and in the world to come, life everlasting." REMEMBER, the kingdom of Heaven, the kingdom of God, the kingdom of the Father, and the Father are all references to that Higher Spiritual Part of Yourself which art in the Light (Heaven).

Now we come to the real part of this, the individuals who, through their own right Desire and right Effort learn of the Father, contact His Light, and become One with Him, can never again be drawn into these discordant things in the psychic and lower realms unless they volunteer from the High Realms of activity where they know exactly what they are doing.

What does cause so many in the psychic realm to hover so close to earth and make no attempt to progress from that realm? The answer is as Jesus states above, there are many reasons. One is that so many pass into the beyond without knowing of Life after Death and, therefore, think that the Psychic Realm is Heaven, and that it is in order and proper to mix with the earth people. Then they soon learn that they can influence those they knew when in the earth body to help them, or harm them, and at times even in a revengeful way, even to encourage them to bet or invest in something not safe.

Then there are those whose strongest Desires when in the earth body were drinking, eating, smoking, gambling, drugs, sex, or anything to which they devoted their Physical Consciousness to intently, including business. Yes, you will find that many spirits come back to earth to try to direct or assist those who now control the business they left behind. Some will want to get the aroma of drink, food, and/or smoking. Others come back to the gambling dens to direct or misdirect the playing of someone they like or dislike as they in their spirit consciousness (which is still earthly) choose to do.

But of all the things which bind the most people to the earth, there are none so great, and stirring, and binding, as LOVE. Mothers, fathers, children or sweethearts, many refuse to progress Spiritually as they prefer to be with those they left behind, even though their presence is not known by those they see. They sit in that chair, their chair, that is now in the same place, but vacant to the ones left behind who cannot see or hear them.

And now to the Mediums who are the Doorways between the Two Worlds; and who are sincere in their work, Continue to bring messages of love to the bereaved and try to encourage your listeners to Desire something more than spirit messages. Remember Jesus' words in the Italian Bible quoting Matthew 5:14 in part - "Ye are the Light of the World."

The Light in Jesus, and which, He said, the Disciples also had to some degree, was the Light of Understanding that Life is Eternal. It is the knowledge of life eternal that He sent them forth to give to the people of the earth. That to whatever degree you can spread Jesus' teachings of Truth and Light, each one of you with spirit sight comes under the category of, "Ye too are the Light of the World." Even though you go no further than the psychic realm, you are still spreading the Light of Understanding that Life is Eternal. But why only go part way? The beautiful part is beyond that realm. For if you do not put forth the Desire & Effort to reach it for yourself, at the close of your earthly pathway of life you will be filled with regret when you look back from your spirit home and see how much more Light you could have spread had you worked for the unfoldment of Light which is obtainable only from the Great Realms of Light. For Jesus' teachings apply not only to the Lower Realms but to all Realms, the Knowledge and Wisdom of which He wants ALL people to know.

People, when you begin to see into the Psychic Realm, know that your Spiritual Sight is but a little expanded, and keep on keeping on, pushing through into the Higher Realms of Light.

Also know that periods of war more readily open individuals to the Psychic Realm's sinister force and, consequently, it has always been observed that after war periods, there is a greater unleashing of the uncontrolled passion of lust than at any other time.

BY-PASSING THAT GREAT CITY, THE PSYCHIC REALM

We closed the preceding chapter reluctantly because there is so much more to reveal about the Psychic Realm, so much more that an entire book could be written on this subject alone. Most of the people in this earth plane have not the slightest idea of the influence that the spirits from the Psychic and Lower Realms have on their earthly lives.

No, very few people know anything about the various Realms in the Land of Spirit and of those who do, some of them think that the Psychic Realm is Heaven. And we have also seen many a Medium who thinks that there is nothing to object to in the Psychic Realm. But this is due to the careful protection given them by their Guide who permits them to see only what they want their earthly mouthpiece to see.

Many people think that a Medium can see into the Spirit Realms any time or any where they desire, but fortunately for the Medium, this is not true. A good Guide in charge of an earthly Medium is the one who is the Doorkeeper to the mind of that Medium. This Guide is the one who opens the door or takes off the receiver connecting the two worlds, and then it depends on that Guide's Spiritual Unfoldment as to the type of message the Medium will receive.

Because some of the Spirit Guides have no Desire to progress Spiritually beyond the Psychic Realm, they will have very little consideration for the earth Medium and will, if allowed, work that Medium beyond his or her endurance. Yes, by satisfying its own selfish spirit desire to officiate at length as custodian of a Medium, the result is physical and mental harm to the Medium. For this is the joy and pleasure of that type of Guide who has no Desire to either reach Higher himself, or to encourage the Medium to do so.

Now what is a Medium to do who has this type of Guide, and has had it for years and been satisfied, but now for some reason or another, Desires to progress Spiritually beyond the Psychic Realm? What shall he or she do? You should send out a "continuous call" to the Blessed Ones of Light and your Father (or Mother if you are female) to assist you to rise above that service which you have been doing. Then, in due time, if you are Sincere and Earnest in your Desire, you will find that a Higher Teacher will come to you and will try to assist not only you but your old Guide to higher attainment. However, if your old Guide declines this newly offered assistance, you will find yourself with only the Higher Guide. Yes, the Higher Guide will take the place of that one who did not want to rise Higher and this is that Guide's privilege, for all are entitled to Free Choice.

However, remember this much about the Psychic and Lower Realms, and that is that the spirits in those realms are no different now then they were when they were in a physical body. For now they are only without their earthly bodies, but in their spirit minds they are exactly as they were in their earth mind in that physical body. Yes, if they were inclined to be harmful or destructive when in their earth body, then they will still be the same, or more so, to those who are still in earth bodies. And as those in the earth bodies cannot see these "devilish" spirits, they are open to the degrading inspiration of these spirits.

But just the same, anyone in the body who is "seeking" spiritual unfoldment is open to inspiration from the Blessed Ones of Light in the Realms of Light. Yes, here once again we see the importance of applying Jesus' instructions to "SEEK THE LIGHT OF YOUR GOD." For as you seek the Light of your Father (or Mother) and you are sincere in your Efforts, you are given protection that will keep you safe from those spirits in the psychic and lower realms.

The phase of spirit activity that is most popular with the people of earth at this time, and to which they seem most eager to give their attention and support, is spirit phenomena of almost any form or character. However, we must remember that these activities come only from the psychic realm and are in no way helpful to Spiritual Unfoldment. And this much you can be sure of, and that is that NO Spirit from the Realms of Light will encourage this type of Mediumship or have any part in the demonstrations.

If only those spirits who devote their time to the giving of these types of phenomena would use that time to advance spiritually, and if likewise those in earth bodies would attend such meetings, then there would be great rejoicing by Those of the Light and much assistance forthcoming from the Blessed Ones.

All that this earthly spirit activity amounts to is a form of entertainment to the earth people, similar to that of an actor on an earthly stage, and maybe some satisfaction in their earthly minds that the Spirit World exists. Yes, instead of assisting themselves and humanity to reach higher, these Mediums in their demonstrations are only bringing, or trying to bring, the activities of the psychic realm into earthly expression.

There is only one possible good that can come from earthly Mediumship, and that is that out of all those who attend these meetings, there might be a few who would desire and put forth the effort to know more of spirit life than just these crude offerings of those in the realms where spirituality is not only unknown but by many unwanted, just the same as here on earth.

There is only one time when spiritual phenomena is helpful to you and that is when it occurs to you in your daily walks of life in a helpful or protective manner which, in this way, should really not be called or classed with the phenomena you sit to view. Remember if you are attempting to raise yourself spiritually, that the helpful phenomena occurring in your daily pathway of life could, and does, come from Those in the higher realms of Light.

You might ask, "Is there nothing but turmoil in the Psychic Realm?" And we answer, As you observe the earth and its people, so is the psychic realm. Some people here on earth say that they are happy, as do some in spirit from the psychic realm when they come to bring their messages to the ones they left behind. And then there are some who say that they are happy but we know that no one, whether in spirit or on earth, would tell the one they love that they were unhappy for fear of worrying or hurting that person.

The ones whom we see that are the happiest in the psychic realm are those who stay close to the old earthly home and their loved ones. But without these loved ones seeing or hearing them - HOW can they be completely happy?

There is only one way to happiness and peace, whether in the body or in the psychic or lower realms, and that is to decide to obtain Spiritual Unfoldment - AND WORK FOR IT!

If you could only understand that these are the True Teachings of Jesus concerning Eternal Life and Spiritualize your Physical Consciousness, you could observe the difference between a spirit from the psychic or lower realms, and one from the high realms of Light. For then it would not take you long to decide that you will put forth the necessary EFFORT, and that you will not let anything stand in the way of your spiritual progression. However, without the intense DESIRE and EFFORT to continuously spiritualize your physical consciousness and receive the EXPERIENCES, these teachings of Jesus can only become what his other teachings of the past became, just another set of blind beliefs.

So, put forth a burning DESIRE to have the EXPERIENCES - ask and ask and ask and keep on asking your Father for the Experience, and at the same time keep on keeping on, knocking and knocking and knocking by Spiritualizing your Physical Consciousness. Put forth a continuous EFFORT to seek and seek and seek more and more and more Spiritual Knowledge AND THE VEIL SHALL BE RENT, and you will see into those realms of Light and darkness. For then and only then will you come into the true realization of what we are saying in these word symbols when we write, The Ones from the Realms of Light, when presenting themselves for identification radiate Peace, Love, Happiness, and many other attributes, unknown to and never experienced or expressed by those in the Realms below the Realms of Light. Yes you will truly understand these word symbols - MAY THE LOVE AND PEACE OF THE LIGHT BE WITH YOU ALWAYS.

Some religionists now will object to the informative nature of Jesus' teachings, just as they did when he was in the body. But is it not better for them to hear about life after death and investigate (if they so Desire) than to pass into the Realms of Spirit without any knowledge concerning Eternal Life?

And now concerning the by-passing of that Great City which we call the Psychic Realm. When we on earth by-pass a large or good size city we do to avoid congestion and confusion and to enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside. We knew of that large city when we planned that auto trip, and looked for, and charted our course via the by-pass. And just so, people can plan their trip through the gateway called Death, and should be just as careful, even more so, than on any trip taken while on earth in the body.

The Spiritual Knowledge that you have access to in this Little Book and the other Little Books containing Jesus' teachings which we have written, can and will direct you as to which road to take. These Little Books plainly outline the bad roads, detours, by-passes, as well as the dead ends. So, if you will but take these Little Books of Jesus and get your family around the table, just as you have done prior to all your earthly vacational trips, and use his Little Books to map out the Greatest Trip (and maybe the Last Trip while here in the body) then upon the transition you will be where He is now. That is the promise!

This will not only give you, as well as all your family, an insight as to the life to come, but it will make it much easier for you to make yourself known to them after you have passed on into the Land of Spirit. And perhaps those meetings around the table will have been the cause of at least one of your family attaining Spiritual Sight such that they will be able to see you in spirit when you visit the home and the family.

Now while you are in the earthly body you may think, as you look at others who are giving themselves over completely to earthly enjoyments, that you are sacrificing too much, but the balance of this earthly life is but a short span and then what will they have? But, if you map your course according to Jesus' Instructions, you will be able to communicate with your loved ones left behind. Yes, you will be a great help to them and others. And then you will appreciate the blessings realized from the EFFORTS you put forth while you were in the earth body, and you will be forever grateful for following the road map (these Little Books of Jesus').

Now picture the following in your mind and you will have a realistic description of the Psychic Realm. Look at a globe map of the earth, and all the nations, and know that the Psychic Realm joins the entire earth and that the spirits of all the nations enter the Psychic Realm. Now remembering that spirit can travel without cost, you can realize the curiosity of a freed spirit that has been pent up, perhaps in poverty in one country, wanting to see this, that, and the other country, both in the earth and psychic realm of each country. Take the picture from there and complete it yourself, using as a comparison the earth as a Realm with as easy access to travel as spirit permits. And we assure you that your final deductions cannot compare with the actual conditions which exist in the Psychic Realm. So, as Jesus says, "It behooves us to learn here and now while in the body, HOW TO by-pass that Great City, the Psychic Realm."

Spiritualizing your Physical Consciousness in this physical embodiment is the only way to by-pass the Psychic Realm. Therefore we have devoted an entire CHAPTER in this, as in all of Jesus' Little Books, to the description of HOW TO attain that state while here. Plain and simple words will be used, and according to Jesus, "The Spiritualization of your Physical Consciousness is one of the most important of all the preparations for the Life to come, after the close of this earthly span you call life."
