A MESSAGE
Every one and every thing is Mediumistic. Yes, every atom, both visible and invisible, is a medium for the expression of God's spiritual force. Know now that God, alone, is the great sustaining Spirit of Light; that the Universal Ether contains within itself all that is, that was, or that will ever be.
We are all capable of developing our latent supernormal faculties and powers. Yes, we can develop and cultivate an increased power in our senses of sight and hearing, as well as other senses, and thus raise our vibration in order to "sense" the things in the higher vibrational realms of spirit.
Presently we are functioning in this physical-material universe through the five senses of a material body. However, if we were to take just one of these five senses away, say sight, then this world in which we move would become amazingly different. So now, if we add another sense faculty, say Mediumship, again we exist in a world amazingly different, and wider, as a result of the additional revelations brought into our consciousness by this "sixth" sense.
Let any one, who has not allowed the power of darkness to close his mind, look deep into this "Well of Wisdom" we give, and they will see the simplicity of the truth; which when given the "KEY" of How to Spiritualize your Physical Consciousness, even a child can open the door into the realms of Spiritual Light. Yes, Knock, and the door shall be opened: where knocking implies EFFORT on your part.
And let it be known now, early in this Little Book, that it is not our intention or purpose to direct you to contact a Medium or Mediums (prophets of darkness). We seek only to acquaint you with Jesus' true teachings of the Light, such that you can open your own Spiritual sight to those realms of Light and the Knowledge and Wisdom contained therein.
Jesus was the greatest prophet (spiritual medium) who has ever come to earth. He is now as much interested in the development of our spiritual progress as He ever was. Please notice that we said "Spiritual Progress" which, when sought after, opens the door by degrees to the spiritual realms of Light, by-passing the Psychic Realms where the spirits are not of the Light.
All can be yours if you will only read this Little Book, and DESIRE to make contact with your Higher Self and the Blessed Ones of Light. Put forth a continuous EFFORT, with patience, to Spiritualize your physical consciousness.
The Pathway of Truth and Light is the pathway of becoming ONE with the Light of your own Higher Self while here in the earthly body; such that upon the transition of so-called Death, ye may rise up in vibration, via the Light you have stored up, to rejoin with that Spiritual Part of yourself from whence ye came.
FOREWORD
Since the beginning, this Wisdom of the Ancients has been sought by all the truth seekers. Now, once again, it has become available to the present day student, via the public domain, for all true seekers of Truth and Light.
This Little Book seeks not to convince any one of any thing; for only you can heal yourself through purification by Light. This Little Book only lays the truth before you that you may drink of its Living Waters, and eat of its Heavenly Bread, or not - the Free Choice is always yours.
While many a seed is sown herein, it is your Love which shall eventually germinate them all into tall tress bearing much fruit. Suffice it to say that it will serve the purpose of humanity far better to know the truth, than to be hiding behind the veil of religious doctrines and dogmas forever. If we find the World in bondage, it is because the truth has been denied; for, as Jesus declares, "The Truth Shall Set You Free."
Thousands upon thousands of people down through the centuries have asked the question, "Why has God stopped talking to man like He did in the Biblical days?" But what they fail to understand is that God has not stopped talking to man - the people have forgotten how to listen. That is why in the chapter titled "How To Spiritualize Your Physical Consciousness" we teach you how to listen.
In offering this Little Book to the public, we have no other motive than the Discourse of Truth as can be found in the teachings of Jesus. The sole intent of this Little Book is to help you to arrive at a clear understanding of Jesus' teachings concerning Life Eternal and all they impart for the welfare of humanity. Truth is truth! . . . and the opinions of men can never make it otherwise.
Now a word to the unwise: DO NOT go into spiritual work and expect to make money at it, even though the temptation is great. For,as you have read, when the money ambitions rise above the giving of the truth, the Blessed Ones of Light withdraw.
Jesus says, "Whenever my teachings pertaining to life eternal are taught, and the revelation thereof is uppermost in the minds of those officiating or teaching, to them I lend my Light of assistance. But; if or when you become more interested in the affairs of the money changers, or the building of earthly edifices in which your attentions and interests supersede the giving of my teachings of life eternal - then, my Light is withdrawn.
"And now I leave my words of Light and Truth in your hands; realizing that Free Choice is for all. Peace, Peace, Peace: may the Love and Peace of the Light be with you always."
INTRODUCTION
We have devoted an entire Little Book to the wise handling of the Psychic Medium, or as called in Biblical days, the "false prophet". There may be one in fifty thousand today who understands that the awakening of the spirit sight into the psychic or astral plane is not a spiritual thing.
We have found that the belief of the living in their ability to communicate with the so-called dead is a very ancient one, dating back to earliest recorded history; and long before that we are told. Yes, from the dawn of mankind on this planet we find Spiritism (not Spiritualism) practised under first one guise and then another. Yes, Known by numerous names down through the various ages, Mediumship is far from being a modern day discovery; for what some call "New Age" is in reality "Old Age", for there is nothing new under the sun.
For thousands of years Spiritism and Spiritualism guided, or shall we say, tried to guide the Hebrews. As proof of what we say, investigate their Scriptures for they contain many instances of such communications, showing that the same was an accepted fact of life with the race, at the times and in the places where these records where written.
While communication with the unseen world of Spirit does not depend upon any particular form of religious belief, the gift of Mediumship is thereby found as being common to all forms of religion. Yes, ALL religions were born from communication with the unseen voice, or from another religion that was born in this way.
Over the past thousands of years it has become clearer and clearer that incarnate man is a Spirit served by organs; that consequently the basis of all religious experience and affirmation is from the Spiritual Consciousness of mankind. There could be no "revelation" of Spiritual Truths if man were not a spirit possessing the capabilities of reception and comprehension, and of being able to interpret and apply these Revelations to quicken the inner self into union with the Higher Self.
To date, much of what has been said on Spirit communication has brought much criticism because of the many deep-rooted ideas and ideals which have been set up in the minds of the uneducated and ill-informed.
We do not attack Spiritism, for all is but a part of God's plan, but we do seek to teach of something much Higher, and of greater value to humanity. So know now that earthly or psychic Mediumship is the opposite teaching of this Little Book.
While almost all Mediums will comprehend or understand the things contained within this Little Book, we must keep in mind Jesus' statement in Matthew 7:14, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life: and Few there be that find it."
Jesus came to teach Spiritualism, not Spiritism! He revealed that his teachings were those of the great Prophets after the Order of Melchizedek. He taught how to attain to the highest type of Mediumship, that of communion with the Father (the Higher self of each). Yes, He taught communion with that Spiritual part of one's self which art in Heaven through the Light within - that Part of each which awaits the return of the prodigal son or daughter.
Yes, the most important teachings are those that enable us to understand better the Brotherhood of man and the Fatherhood of God, as all Beings with a singleness of Purpose.
No doubt there are thousands of Mediums who believe they have been led nearer to God, and who look upon Spiritism as a means whereby they have been delivered from benighted materialism. No doubt many feel they have come out of the Darkness and into the Light. However, one must know very little of Spiritualism to think that Spiritism is the end all.
Those who practise Spiritism believe in an infinite intelligence, and rightly they do, but they miss the fact of the individual God-self (mostly because neither do the spirits they contact know of anything Higher). If God is Limitless, then, "Why do you limit your beliefs? Or why do you let other spirits, incarnate or otherwise, limit your beliefs?"
You sought proof of Spiritism and found the facts, now seek proof of Spiritualism and find the Truth!
WHAT DO I WANT OUT OF LIFE?
Very few people ever ask themselves this question, but oh how easily this question could be answered if they only knew why they came into their present physical embodiment. So, we say unto you, "What do you want out of life?"
Dear friend there is not one person in the earthly body who knows why you are in your present house of clay. No, not your earthly father, or mother, or a relative, or a close friend, or minister. No, not even a Medium or a Psychic, or one of their Spirit Guides can tell you why you are here in your present body of clay, for they too are lost in their own Darkness. Therefore, if you are going to find the answer to this question, you are going to have to look elsewhere for this counsel and advice. "But where?", you ask. And we answer, "You must look to the Light Within."
There are two categories in which people place themselves. One is the person who receives "input" only from the external physical-material plane, and thus drifts along in the sea of time being tossed to and fro by wave after wave of emotionalism; and then, there is the second person who is creating more and more Light within. "KNOW THYSELF" is their motto of Understanding. This latter category of people know themselves to be the Captain of their Ship of Life, taking their bearings constantly and considering what the whole is all about.
The world is full of all types of people: some desiring to be of assistance one way or another while others seem to be joyfully trying to do just the opposite. We say to those who are SINCERE in wanting to know more about themselves:
"Seek ye the Light of your God or Goddess.
For there in that Light you will find the
Spiritual Illumination which will shine
forth such that you can help to bring the
Truth and Knowledge to those you meet along
your Roadway of Life: that the gate of
so-called Death but leads into the Land of
Eternity."
Fortunate is that person who turns the "KEY" within this Little Book to make contact with the Light Within. For that Key opens the door to the most important source of assistance that is needed to answer the question, "What do I want out of Life?"
Those who see the Light Within and hear the voice in the Silence, they are the same ones who have been preparing themselves and are now ready to enter into the Great Work. These are the people who will control their emotions and thus stand alone; constantly receiving help through the Light of their God. For the Light Within is the ONLY place from whence this Knowledge of Life Eternal, and all Spiritual Knowledge, comes.
Yes, within this Little Book is the "KEY," or if you wish, the "Instructions" of HOW TO ILLUME your Physical Consciousness: where the word Illume means to increase your Light. And that increase of Light comes from no other place but your God, the Eternal Spirit Part of you, your Creator.
So, seek ye the Light of your God and all else shall be added unto you, including the plan and purpose for which you came into this earthly embodiment. For without becoming At-One with your God, you will have no idea of what you want out of life because you have no Spiritual Goal. And without the Real Knowledge of the Life after death, your life here cannot help but become purely physical and, in most cases, selfish.
Remember this always: The Work can only be done for you by you! No one else can do the Work for you. Each one of you now holds in your hands the Secret of Secrets; the "KEY" which can unlock the door to Heaven, that place where each one of you is hoping to be sometime. Knock, which means put forth Effort, and the door shall be opened unto you. That is the promise.
Yes, in the Silence of your lives you can be in that place whereof you call Heaven, but know not what it is. For Peace will come over you as you give these truths, and the other truths that you will learn, to your fellow man. However, if it is your good fortune to acquire both Spiritual Treasures and earthly treasures, train yourself so that you can and will let pass from your possession all earthly treasures without regret, thereby releasing yourself, as you pass into spirit, of any bondage to anything on earth. Treat all earthly possessions as on loan from God, and that when the call comes for you to leave, you must return them for use by another. By doing this, you will free your spirit mind to quick Spiritual progression without being hampered by any of the treasure ties of earth.
Jesus says . . . . . "In these words of Light, which I give in these Little Books, for the people of the worlds, into their consciousness they can receive My words of Light: then as they reach into the Light of their own God or Goddess, and as they hear and speak my words, they will find a Spiritual Guidance that will help them to know, as they continue to reach into the Light of their God, a guidance that will help them to continue to know that they will find a Spiritual abundance of truths. And that by Spiritualizing their Physical Consciousness they can open the door such that they will eventually be At-One with their own God-self; that Higher Self of each. Yes, each one that hears my words, they find themselves waiting; waiting for more and more of this Knowledge that they are seeking. To you people of the worlds, have faith in the power of the Light of your God; for as you Spiritualize your Physical Consciousness, then you will know that the Kingdom of your God is always near you: return to whence ye came.
" Each one of you can be a shepherd. Yes, a Shepherd among the people of the earth world, and later in the Spirit World. Show them the `Way'. Help them to Know, that as a God or Goddess, that through the EFFORTS they put forth, that they too can be in the Light of their God.
"Now I leave each one of you with the decision for you alone to make: What do I want out of Life? Reach into the Light of your God and know the truth: for the truth will set you free . . . free from the fear of Death - as you come into At-One-Ment with the Light of your God. And now I leave My Peace, and my Love, and My Light with thee."
