A FEW BIBLICAL PASSAGES OF INCARNATION
And now a few passages from the Bible which show or indicate Incarnation. Daniel 12:13, "But go thou thy way till the end be (death) for thou shalt rest (be in the Spirit World), and stand in thy lot at the end of the days." (Daniel would incarnate again).
Philippians 2:7 - see here that Jesus incarnated and took upon himself the form of a servant. And John 10:17-18, where Jesus says, "I lay down my life (Eternal Life in the Light) that I might take it again." And Galatians 4:19, Paul declares that he has been incarnated again.
Then in John 8:58, Jesus plainly states, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM." And in John 8:56, Jesus says, "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it and was glad." Thus in John 8:58 we see that Jesus existed before Abraham, and in John 8:56, that for Abraham to see Jesus on earth, Abraham must exist in the Spirit World, and was watching Or was Simeon in Luke 2:25-32 Abraham incarnate?
In Revelation 10:11, Jesus tells the disciple John that he would have to testify AGAIN before many Kings and many Countries.
Now look to John 1:42 and John 21:15-17 and see that Peter was the incarnation of Jonah (ie: Jonah was Peter's Father in Heaven). Know now that Jesus called many of his disciples by their heavenly names. Remember Saul became Paul.
Now read the following two Bible passages and learn of an Incarnation. Zachariah 4:11-14, "Then answered I, and said unto Him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof? And I answered again, and said unto Him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves? And He answered unto me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my Lord. Then said He, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth." . . . and now, turning to Revelation 11:3-4, "And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth."
Now, since John the baptizer was the Incarnation of Elias (Elijah) in all four of the so-called gospels, how do you explain this away, as coincidence? Reading John 1:6, "There was a man sent from God, whose name was John." And in the Old Testament, Malachi 4:5, you find that the people were looking for the return of Elijah (Elias). And in John 1:19-25, you see that the Prophets (the priests and the Levities) were looking for the return of Elias. Then in Matthew 17:11-13, you see that Elijah was coming back ahead of the Messiah, and that John the baptizer was the pre-existent Elijah. Then in Luke 1:17, we see that John was the Spirit previously known as Elijah. Recall, however, that John the baptizer said, "I am not Elijah," thus indicating the loss of memory of past lives. Also look to Matthew 11:10, Matthew 11:14, and Mark 9:11-13. Notice how both Elias and John were teachers of righteousness, and that both had similar characteristics.
Then in Matthew 11:2-3 and Luke 7:20, John the baptizer was expecting one of the prophets to incarnate again as the Messiah. Whereas in Matthew 14:1-2, Mark 6:14-16, and Luke 9:7-8, Herod believed Jesus was the incarnation of John the baptizer. Thus there was a belief in those times in the possible quick return of the dead. Or this could also show a belief in Spirit obsession and thus the continuation of the Spirit after death of the body (recall the crazy man, Legions, and the swine).
Now a point of interest is that both John's mother Elizabeth and her cousin Mary (Jesus' mother) were both visited by Angels and told of their children's future. But John knew not Jesus, although Jesus knew John and both treated each other as strangers?
Turning to Matthew 16:13-14, Mark 8:27-28, Luke 9:18-19, "And Jesus said unto them, `Whom do men say that I the Son of Man am?' And some said John the baptizer, Elias, Jeremiah, or one of the Prophets." The fact that Jesus did not refute their belief of Incarnation, but rather introduced such a question, is an important point to recognize. For if Incarnation were not True, Jesus would have surely told them so (also notice that in more than forty instances Jesus calls himself "the son of man." Therefore, does "the son of man" mean nothing more than the son of a man just like every one else, and thus all can attain the same perfection as Jesus has?) And when Jesus says He is the Son of God, would this not mean He was the Sun (light) of his God? Would this not follow "the Light of the World"?
In Matthew 17:9, reading, "And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the VISION to no man, until the Son of man be risen AGAIN from the dead." If Jesus had not existed and died before (from the Light to here,) HOW could he rise AGAIN from the dead? (Notice: in the "versions" of the Bible written after the King James VERSION, the word "AGAIN" has been removed.)
And let us not forget that in the cemetery, Mary Magdalene had mistaken Jesus for the gardener, and also the incident where Jesus walked many miles along the road with the disciples before they recognized Him (see Luke 24:15-31). And in John 20:26, Jesus appeared in a closed room out of "thin air," again in a different form and Thomas didn't believe it was Jesus until he touched the wounds.
Therefore, the greatest proof of Incarnation and Life Eternal lies in the crucifixion, death, resurrection, and Jesus' reappearance in different spirit-physical bodies. These were all manifestations of Jesus' prior life forms (physical bodies), so that the people would understand that which Jesus came to tell the people the Two Great Truths -
(1) Life is Eternal there is no death, and
(2) the Cycle of Incarnation is for your
purification.
NOW LISTEN that you may escape the sufferings of future embodiments, if not the future embodiments themselves. You do not bring with you the conscious memory of you past lives, but you do bring with you your Characteristics and tendencies.
Reading Obadia 1:15, "For the day of the Lord is near upon all heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head." And Psalms 62:12, "For God renderest to every man according to his works." And Romans 2:6-11, "Who will render to every man according to his deeds, for there is no respect of persons with God." And Leviticus 24:20, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth." And Galatians 6:7-8, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Soweth to the flesh and reap corruption, Soweth to the Spirit and Reap LIFE EVERLASTING." Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death (Rebirth into this world), but the gift of God (your God) is Eternal Life (Life in the Light) through Jesus." And Revelation 13:10, "He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword." If any man hath an ear let him hear. You shall reap what ye sow.
Ephesians 4:10, "He that descended is the same also
that ascended."
John 3:13, "And NO MAN hath ascended up to Heaven,
but he that came down from Heaven."
John 3:7, "Marvel not that I said unto thee,
YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN"
JESUS AND INCARNATION
We know little about the life of Jesus from the Bible. In all, we are told about only 40 days in His life.
Christianity would like us to believe that Jesus died for us and our sins, but we now understand that Jesus did not die. Jesus demonstrated that there is no death. He conquered death for us to witness. He showed us that the Spirit, the you within the body, is Everlasting. There is no death, only Eternal Life.
Yes, Jesus came to put an end to the belief in death and to teach humanity HOW TO overcome the causes of Re-Birth: the Cycle of Incarnation.
There have been so many misunderstandings about the real Teachings of Jesus. Many fail to understand that for Jesus to have become such a superior Being, he must have had both an early start as well as previous training. Most people consider Jesus to have been different and superior to other men, and in many ways he was different and superior, but only in His Evolutionary Development.
Jesus came into this world in physical form through the natural process of childbirth to reduce his superiority to that of a common man (the son of a man). His earthly parents of the body he was to use, were Joseph and Mary, as we more commonly know their names to be today. Nowhere at any time did Jesus claim to be more than a man, and when he said he was "the son of God," he did not specifically mean offspring as we are all the sons and daughters of God, but that he was the SUN of God, the Light of this World, the bringer of Truth and Light; the builder of his own Sun.
The capabilities Jesus developed here in the body were nothing that any man could not develop and he plainly states this in John 14:12 when he says, "Greater Works than these shall ye do." But where do we find those doing even the things he did let alone "greater Works?" In those churches made with hands?
Yes, as a Being of Light, Jesus could have manifested himself in all his splendour by direct materialization into this physical world, as he did in several different forms after the crucifixion (ie: in the garden, on the road to Jerusalem to the two disciples, in the upper room with locked doors) but he wanted everyone to come unto the Realization that we are all Gods and Goddesses (see John 10:34) and that anyone can learn the Truth and apply the Laws of Eternity to achieve anything good.
Jesus was what some refer to as a DESCENDED MASTER: that is he (the soul of his Higher Self) came down from Heaven (the Light) and chose the body into which he was to be born in this earth plane. He is a Blessed One of Light, an Elder Brother, who chose the work he was do to here on earth. He came to fulfil the prophecies of the Prophets, which he and the other Blessed Ones of Light had over the years sown in the earth plane, and thus, hopefully, raise mankind's Consciousness higher, away from that of their earth earthly consciousness. All this was planned from the beginning by Jesus and all the many Blessed Ones of Light who would attend him while he was in the earthly body.
No, there was no "immaculate conception," (that pagan belief which even existed before Jesus came) as can be seen from reading both Matthew and Luke who trace Jesus' birth through the lineage of David, besides it was prophesied that the Messiah would come through the lineage of David, and all prophecies had to be fulfilled (see Matthew 5:17, Matthew 26:56, and use your Concordance to look up and read all the passages containing the word "fulfilled").
Jesus' appearance in the several different bodies after his final resurrection showed the many lives he lived on earth while progressing towards the state of being ONE with his Father in the Light: the path which all fallen Spirits, newly created Spirits, and lost Chosen Ones (Lost Sheep) must follow to escape the Cycle of Incarnation. Jesus came to show us the "WAY" out of this Darkness and into the Light of Eternity which is the real Life Everlasting.
In olden times (as today) God was being portrayed as someone to fear; God had become a god of revenge, hate, and anger. The Jews were worshipping the "Karmic Law" of God (an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth) and not a God of Love and Light. They (the Jews) became the judges of the "Law" instead of leaving God's Law to reward and punish; thus heaping huge coals of fire upon their own heads. Jesus came to bring the New Covenant (Testament) that God is a God of Love and Understanding; that the Hebrews had fallen into worshipping the Law of Cause and Effect and not God.
The most open, and yet seemingly the most Hidden Message that Jesus brought to mankind, was that "there is no death." You always survive the death of the physical body. He not only showed this by bringing the dead back to life, as in the recorded cases of Lazarus and the twelve year old girl, but he gave us a personal example through allowing himself to be crucified. And let us not forget that those whom Jesus healed and brought back to life got sick and died again, or, as we know now, didn't die but were made alive in the Spirit World.
Yes the message has become hidden that God is not a god of vengeance, but a God of Love. No one is sent to an Eternal damnation in Hell, for God is Love; and thus His Eternal Law of the Cycle of Incarnation for He forgives us more than "Seventy times Seventy."
However, to escape this Cycle of Incarnation and move upwards into the Realms of Light, ever upwards, we must follow the "WAY" Jesus showed, "All ye that labour and are heavy laden, FOLLOW ME, and ye shall have rest from the Cycle of Incarnation." Yes, Jesus showed us the Way if we are tired of this world and its illusions of peace and happiness.
Yes, Jesus came to bring the Truth that there is no death except to the mortal body (which likewise doesn't die but changes from dust to Light). We ALL live on, and continue to return to inhabit this planet until we can free ourselves from these earthly Desires and break the Cycle of Incarnation rising back up into our Father which art in the Realms of Light.
The so-called "death" of Jesus was a perfect example of the change from death to Life. Death to Him was nothing for He knew of Eternity and the Light thereof. He was going HOME. His bodily death and the later manifestations of the many different appearances was his "symbolic picture" of the Cycle of Incarnation Life Goes On!
Know now that on the first day that Jesus' body died that He rose up through the Light of his Father into Heaven where He was triumphantly received (read Revelation chapter 5), and on the second day he prepared his work to return into earthly form and then on the morning of the third day, he returned to the garden outside the sepulchre.
Then at the ascension he repeated the Transfiguration of the mount (after which the disciples remembered him saying "tell the VISION to no one until the SUN of man be risen AGAIN) where his vibrational level was raised, with the help of the Blessed Ones of Light, to the level of Pure Light, dissolving the manifested body and finally vibrating out of sight. Thus if we can acquire as much LIGHT as Jesus, we too can not only do the things that he did, but we can make the ascension, and truly, Incarnation into this world of Death will be overcome. This same process of raising the vibratory level of the body was used in the tomb to dissolve the body back into its component parts of Light, the energy of which broke the seal, shook the ground, and opened the sepulchre for all to see that there is no death. Jesus Lives. All in All is Light.
Look to Matthew 17:9, where after Jesus transfigured into that Blessed One of Light, he said to the disciples, "Tell the VISION to no man, until the Son of man be risen AGAIN from the dead." Now this coincides with Matthew 8:22 where Jesus tells his disciple, "FOLLOW ME; and let the dead bury their dead." For while we remain in the Darkness, we are DEAD. But when we shall reach the Light, we shall be Alive again. And again we see in reading John 18:9 a prophecy which also had to be fulfilled. Also, could the word "AGAIN" mean that Jesus had lived before, or do we mean died to this world?
Know now that Jesus chose the twelve apostles apart from the hoard of disciples, they did not choose themselves. While some were the followers of John the baptizer and were prepared by John to follow in the Great Work, Jesus chose them, as well as others, for various reasons. If you will look closely at, and examine each disciple's character, you will find a portrayal of the Life Cycle of the many Incarnations of Man, each disciple representing an earthly Desire of the Soul which must be overcome (the disciples' questions to Jesus will also help you to understand this point). For Example, Matthew the money changer, Thomas the doubter, Peter the violent, Judas the betrayer, John the questioner, etc. (Do the work for yourself; do not expect us to lay everything on a silver platter before you. Only YOU can save YOU!)
Know now that the Eastern Teachings that you hear so much about are the Teachings of Jesus. There was no West in those days. The West awaits the coming of the one they wrongly call Maitreya, who is here, but they will likewise fail to know who he is until he comes out of the north to stand before the heads of state to tell of the great eagle which shall fall and the next eagle that shall take its place (except for those whom he or their Father or Mother chooses to make known).
Know now that the Eastern Teachings of the Cycle of Incarnation states that "Man continues to live life after life in a physical body until he purges himself of all iniquity by mastering his soul's earthly Desires. He does this by putting forth the necessary EFFORT to Unite with his Father (or Mother if you are female) and become of Spiritual Service to ALL HUMANITY." Then, and only then, shall we rise above the necessity of rebirth and enter into that Mansion of Light, to which we are entitled to, by the strength of the Vibration of our accumulated Light; that Garment of Light.
Jesus says, "To him that overcometh the Cycle of Incarnation, he shall become a pillar of Light in the Temple of his Father for all to see and after that last incarnation he shall rise up and dwell in the Light, and be required to Incarnate no more."
HELL
"As a man thinketh
in his heart,
so is he." - Proverbs 23:7
We live our true lives in the depths of our heart, not in the superficial mask of personality which we show to the world. The inside of the cup is more important than the outside.
People think that they shall obtain a peaceful and serene Heaven without mental evolution on their part. They are to be pitied. "Forgive them Father for they know not what it is that they do."
Our thoughts have brought us to where we stand today, and it is our thoughts which shall take us to where we shall be tomorrow, for better or for worse.
Upon death of the physical body, our consciousness shall not be miraculously transformed into an Angel of God; our consciousness shall not be changed one iota. Reading Revelation 22:11, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still; and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still; and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still; and he that is holy, let him be holy still."
Yes, in the next world you will be exactly what you are at the time of death - just minus a physical body. And to accompany the above quotation we read Matthew 13:12, "For whosoever hath [Spiritual Treasures] to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance; but whosoever hath not [Spiritual Treasures] from him shall be taken away even that he hath [physical treasures]."
Yes, if we insist on identifying ourself with the material world instead of the Spiritual world, then upon death we must accept the fear and suffering which goes with this wrong perception of reality. This happens because we go out of the body "clinging" to the life we left behind, our faces turned away from the Light, towards earthly existence, wanting it and wrapped up in it. Yes, what we experience in the after death state is largely determined by the general tendency or habit: the energy of what we thought, believed, desired, and understood during our earth life.
Here in the body the mind is slowed up and our mental faculties slow down in speed and intensity. But once freed from the restrictions that the body of flesh imposes, including sleep, we find ourselves in a most busy state of consciousness, a state of consciousness so busy that our earthly mind could never have conceived of such a state. Our mental faculty will function with the speed of light, responding to every "pent-up" emotion and mental action we have produced while in the physical body. And Remember, The Spirit Never Sleeps.
Jesus says unto you, "NOW is the time to cultivate your mental power, while you are in the earthly body, as that after death when you are released into the Spirit World, your mind does not run away with itself, causing in some cases a virtual Hell."
He says again unto you, "Earthly things [treasures] you cannot bring with you as you enter the Spirit World into which all come; but those earthly Desires can be your Hell. Yes, you will find that the Desires of your physical body will go with you into a Spirit Realm of Darkness unless you eliminate them here and NOW! Yes, your earthly Desires will follow you, but those desires being of the physical realm have no way of being gratified in the Spirit World for you no longer possess a physical body."
However, let us not be misunderstood. The acquiring of material things is not wrong, it is the Desire for these earthly things, above Spiritual Growth, that is out of balance. Death is a passage to either a better or a worse existence, depending upon how you have exercised your Free Choices while in the physical body.
People become victims of their own extreme selfishness and extreme vices. The character of the Spirit, developed in its last incarnation, determines the Spirit's environmental experiences and contacts with similar and worse beings on the other side of the veil. Reading Jesus' statement to these facts in Luke 11:24-26, "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house [body] whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished [prepared for burial]. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there [in that Realm of Darkness]: and the last state of that man [Spirit] is worse than the first (physical)."
Then there is the Bottomless Pit of which we spoke in the 1992 Little Book Why Mediumship Has No Value. Suffice it for us to say, the Bottomless Pit is a Realm where certain individuals undergo a veritable Hell in which they experience, in prolonged form, the agonies that they have brought to others. These people have become victims of their own debased thoughts and actions while in the physical body or a Spirit Realm of Darkness. This Realm teaches the Spirit to keep the leering aggressions of its own unsatisfied passions "on a leash." Finally, they look into their own inner being and ask the question "What have I done with this gift of Life?" This repentance, self-judgment of its own thoughts and acts, this self-introspection then liberates the spirit to rise higher into more friendlier Realms of Spirit (but not the Realms of Light).
Yes, upon death of the physical body, we inevitably gravitate by mental attraction to the Realm most in accord with our thoughts and affections. There our consciousness goes on pulsating and receiving those same thoughts (good and/or evil) to which we have become attuned while in the physical body. God generates good; man, evil. If you live a "good life," so to speak, then this "good" will go with you to the other side, and you will be spared many of the unpleasant and terrifying experiences and visions of the evil elementals and those other inimical Beings of the Psychic Realms. But you still will not be in Heaven. For strait is the way and narrow is the Path, and FEW THERE BE THAT FIND THE WAY.
While pleasure and pain, good and evil are great teachers, all the Knowledge and Wisdom of the Universe comes by the Spiritualization of Our Physical Consciousness by lifting the veil inside our Spiritual Consciousness so that our Physical Consciousness can eat from the Tree of Life.
