HE THAT LOVETH HIS LIFE SHALL LOSE IT

This heading is a partial quote from John 12:25, which in full reads, "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall keep it unto life eternal."

Jesus' words were mostly for His apostles whom He was strictly training to become teachers of the Truths that He was trying to impart to them, and the above quotation is no exception.

However His instructions, while stringent, were not then for His disciples alone, nor now merely historical. But then and now, were and are for any one that feels, when reading His words, an intense desire to try to attain the heights of His Teachings. It is the aim of some people to attain perfection in whatever they attempt, and Jesus' Teachings are the greatest goal to which any one can aspire. Even if we do not reach the stage of perfection we had hoped for, one thing is sure, that the progress we make can never be lost, and we have not worked in vain.

And now, the first line of the quotation, "He that loveth his life shall lose it." What Jesus meant to impart and have His disciples and us comprehend, was that whosoever loveth his physical life in its completeness, and to the exclusion of the Spiritual Life, by reason of that love for that physical life, and the joys and pleasures thereof, at its close will have lost the time spent in that earthly life as he has nothing to show for it insofar as Spiritual Treasures are concerned when he lays down the body. Spiritual Treasures are the only things that count, as far as Spiritual Progress is concerned, as the earthly joyous times in the body and the treasures of earth stacked up, must remain right there and you will view them as sad mementos of earthly toil, which to you are now useless, except to cause greater remorse in your spirit mind until you can adjust yourself in the Spirit World and charge that entire earth experience, not up to profit, but to loss.

And now the other part of the quotation, "and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto Life Eternal."

Remember, Jesus was still speaking to His disciples and used forceful language when He said, "Hateth his life in this world." This means that he will not permit the charms, joys, pleasures, and possession of the earthly world to sway, attract or bind him in his pursuit to attain his goal of Spiritual Knowledge: which He hopes is Mastery. With that Spiritual Unfoldment comes the necessity of imparting what he has attained to others, which he knows he must do, as it has been revealed to him at some time in the stage of his progress. Instead of becoming a toilsome undesirable part of the obligation, it becomes and is a pleasure. And the quotation then reads, "shall keep it unto life eternal." It says to this type of person that he shall keep it until eternity, meaning that unlike the one who loved his earth life and salvaged nothing of a Spiritual Nature, this second one forsook earth life, and added by his DESIRE and EFFORT Spiritual Treasures which became a part of the Spirit Part of him. And as he lived the type of life that did not compel him to come into reimbodiment, he was entitled to keep that Spiritual Consciousness that he earned while in the body, as the quotation says, "unto Life Eternal." Whereas had he been compelled to come back into the body again, he would have had to lose all Consciousness of past learning of any kind when, and as each must, as they are breathed into the physical body.

So "SERVICE" is the watchword. First comes the Desire, then the Effort for Spiritual Unfoldment. Then the Consciousness of the Light of your God, then the Service of and to your own God and the Blessed Ones of Light by spreading the Truths of what you have found. Then the Reward, the pay-off, which is and always will be yours, the Peace that can only be experienced, which cometh from your Light and the Light of the Blessed Ones.

THE ANGELS REJOICE IN THE SAVING OF A SOUL

Jesus says, "My disciples shall give these words of Truth and Light to the peoples of the earth, and as the people hear these words, those who understand will come to know more and more in their Spiritual Consciousness that they are on the right road to attain Spiritual Progression. For the `law' of their God is Light and Love, and as the people of earth come to understand more of their own God, they will become in at-one-ment with the Light of their God. For in their minds and hearts as they grow Spiritually, the understanding of My words of Light thou givest to them that I give to thee will bring them closer and closer into a fuller understanding that they can be in the presence of their God, while they are in their earthly temples.

"The Reality in which they find themselves, as they put forth the Effort to know that they are Gods and Goddesses encased in a house of clay, will be apparent. Put forth that DESIRE to know more and more of the things pertaining to your God and know that Spiritual Guidance and Spiritual Progression each one of you will attain, for the Light of your God will never fail you.

"Scatter these seeds of Kindness and Light so that you can help others, that their lives might be bright, for one word of Kindness that shows them the `way,' will be a seed that will grow into a beautiful flower of Spirituality. Spiritualize Your Physical Consciousness to the degree that you, each one of you will hide not your Light, your Spiritual talents of Light and Truth. And now, begin to prepare yourselves for the time when you too will come through the Gateway called DEATH."

At Some time in our lives most of us have heard the heading of this chapter, "The Angels Rejoice In The Saving of A Soul," but due to its ambiguousness could never quite interpret its full meaning which is a natural state if we lack the Knowledge of Life After Death and, to a greater degree, knowledge of the Psychic and Lower Realms.

It is even more confusing if we turn to the dictionary for the definition of an Angel, which reads, "A supernatural messenger of God; a spiritual, celestial being, superior to man in power and intelligence." That definition might suit and apply to a mind which has been orthodoxly reared and happy in the belief of a universal God which, of course, supports the theory of anything beyond our comprehension as being supernatural. The definition does do one positive thing. It takes Angels out of the Psychic and Lower Realms and refers to them as Celestial Beings. Then the definition further outlines an Angel as a messenger, a minister, or pastor of a church, etc.

The heading of this chapter reads, "The Saving of A Soul"; but for a clearer understanding maybe it should read, "The Saving of A Spirit" not "Soul". Most people think "the saving" means from hell's fire or damnation, even though they have read in that same Bible, "Life is Eternal."

So, What is the meaning? In the first place, an Angel is a Spirit that has by Desire and Effort while in a physical body, progressed into any of the Realms of Light. From there it is never compelled to come back into reimbodiment in the earth world, unless it Desires to do so to be of Service to the earth people. Whereas, all in the Psychic and Lower Realms are subject to reimbodiment, depending upon their activities while in those Psychic and Lower Realms.

The real meaning of the heading of this chapter is "The Angels," (those who are in any of the Realms of Light). They do rejoice when they see a Spirit of an earth person rise into a Realm of Light amongst those in that Realm. Yes they do rejoice in that one's coming. It is this act that makes these words true (The Saving of A Soul) which means that one is saved from further soul reimbodiments unless it chooses to do so. You will notice the words "soul reimbodiment" were used. This is correct as a Spirit is Spirit as well as soul during its occupancy of an earth body.

You might wonder if it is possible for one having risen to the Realms of Light, to backslide into the Lower Realms? YES, that is possible.

Let us now look at an actual happening in a Spirit Realm of Light. A Blessed One says, "You that are gathered here, are desirous of being placed into a Higher Sphere or Realm, and through this door," as He points to a door, "as you go through that door, all thoughts of going back into the earthly sphere must be forgotten for a time. You have, step by step, come into the Sphere of Light into the Realms whereof you dwell, and now, are you willing to Desire to go through that door into a `higher school' or sphere, that you may learn that all that matters to you is to Know and Understand that you can become ONE of the Blessed Ones, as you release the thoughts of the earth world and `seek' and `learn' to be a Blessed One of Light? It is Free Choice, and each one of you maketh their own decisions for themselves."

So, we now go through that door, and behold the beautiful Light in there. And as the three Blessed Ones go through that door and are seated now at a table and the door is left open and Jesus says, "Look through the door. Do you see so many of those that are turning away." And out of that gathering of Spirit people there, there were only two of them that DESIRED to leave everything and go into that Sphere of Light, that they too, may know and give through their EFFORTS the Light, that Beautiful Light that encircles the Blessed Ones of Light in the Eternal Realms, the Higher Spheres in Spirit.

Wisdom, Knowledge, AND THE UNDERSTANDING OF THINGS ETERNAL

With this subject Jesus speaks the following words, "As I received the words I wrote when in my earth body, just as these words are written, so, I too was a Servant of the Light and was given Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of Things Eternal in and through the Light as every Servant of the Light has received and done."

In connection with this subject, the whole of the 28th chapter of Job in the Italian Bible is worthwhile to read. But this chapter also has the old-fashioned idea of a God of Fear; an idea which exists throughout the whole of the Old Testament. However, Solomon came fairly close in his statement of "cease from thine own wisdom" (meaning physical wisdom).

Now let us look at the acquisition of Wisdom and Knowledge and Understanding from childhood up in the physical realm. The child enters the first grade of public school and through promotions finally graduates from some level of education. Does that child forget what it learns or does he apply it? Many go through all of life and NEVER enter the first grade of acquiring Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of Things Eternal. Then at the end of their roadway of physical life, they enter into the Spirit Land, not only Spiritual paupers, but also lacking any understanding of Life there.

Spiritual Wisdom, Knowledge, and Understanding comes not in a month or year or a decade, but through CONSTANT EFFORT and SEEKING. Your SEEKING through the Spiritualization of Your Physical Consciousness is the knock at the door of the Father, but turn not away after the door is opened. Understand that each one of us is our own "keeper" and that after knocking, we may enter or stay outside. Like Belshazzar in the Book of Daniel, you too will see the handwriting on the walls of your consciousness as you attempt to Spiritualize Your Physical Consciousness. But you may not have a Daniel like he did to interpret the writing for you.

Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of Things Eternal comes NOT through the physical learning of your brain, it comes only through your Sincere Desire and Manyfold Efforts to Spiritualize the Human Structure of your mind. Of all the attainments of which the human mind is capable, this Spiritualization of the Physical Consciousness IS THE MOST IMPORTANT. For through this Effort, the door to the Father is opened little by little and He gradually releases the true Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding of things Spiritual into your Physical Consciousness. These are the THINGS you then take with you into your Realm of Spiritual Existence.

Yes, the Blessed Ones of Light on the invisible side, seeing your Desires and Efforts, assist you just as the teachers assisted you in your earthly school of physical teachings. Yes, from the very start of your quest for Spiritual Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, Spiritual Teachers teach you and assist you to come closer and closer to the Source of all your being. All who attained the Light travelled this same pathway, which at times is a very weary task.

Jesus says, "Be not weary in well doing;" and shows a picture parable of a man with a heavy bag on his back, weary from travel on foot. The man stops, lies down and uses the bag as a pillow and falls asleep. Jesus appears beside him and holds His hands over the man's body, which becomes filled with Light.

He shows another picture of one who sits at a physical table loaded with all money can buy, but is still hungry. Jesus says, "see this one: he knocked at the door but did not enter in, so he did not receive the Light from his Father which contains the Wisdom and Knowledge and Understanding of the Things concerning Life Eternal in the Spirit Realms."

Then Jesus shows a small room used as a church in the Spirit World and says, "A church with a table spread with pure Spiritual food to overflowing; some have knocked and come in to this church and have sat at this table, but did not partake of its food." Jesus says, "Offer to feed My Sheep with and through the Light of Understanding, the Spiritual Truths we bring to thee."

There is only one source from which the Knowledge of this Little Book comes, and that is the ONE that brought the Truths of Eternal Life to the people of the earth world, the Blessed One, Jesus.

This Knowledge and Understanding is essential to the welfare, peace, and future of all humanity. This Little Book has been written to bring the True Teachings of Jesus concerning Life Eternal from the Realms of Light that the people may know the true facts about Life Everlasting in all its phases.

Find the "KEY" within this Little Book. Learn How To use this Key to become acquainted with the allness of yourself, your God, the Eternal part of you, the Father while here in the physical body. Yes, this Knowledge will help you to come into a greater Understanding of yourself and you will realize that each one of you is a separate creation, a universe within the universe, or a microcosm within the macrocosm; each one a God or Goddess in his or her own right, regardless of how ungodly our present or past expressions have been while incarnate in a body.

TO HIM THAT HATH, MORE SHALL BE GIVEN

Jesus says, "Always know that the Guiding Light of your God will give to you the Knowledge that you in the earthly world are seeking. As you draw closer into the Light of your God you will be given, through the EFFORTS you put forth, the right DESIRES to bring you into the Light of your God. For in your Physical Consciousness will be placed that understanding of where your God is and `How To' enter into at-one-ment with it. Ye are the Light of the World."

The heading of this chapter is taken from Matthew 13:12, reading, "For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance. But whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath." Many think that this applies to the affairs of earth life, but we call your attention again to Jesus' statement in John 6:63, reading in part, ". . . the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life(Spirit Life)," and these words are applicable to the defining of this quotation - "To Him That Hath, More Shall Be Given."

"To Him That Hath" means, to him that hath the Light or the Knowledge of the Light that he has brought with him from the Realms of Light, more of that Light shall be given him unto abundance, if, he Desires it, and, is willing to put forth the EFFORT to spread it unto others. Jesus says, "If the people of the earth will come into at-one-ment with the Light of their Gods and Goddesses, then their Light will shine forth that others may hear and know the Truth of Eternal Life."

You might think, "Is it worth the Effort?" And we say to you now, your mind will be given the right Desires that will bring you the Knowledge that is FREE for all. You in your earthly bodies, you in the temple of your Living God, how inspired you will be when you come into the Light. As Jesus has said, over and over, again and again, "Seek and ye shall find, Knock and the door will be opened to you so that you can become At-One with your God. Fear not, for the Love of your God will bring and inspire each one of you to know that the EFFORTS you put forth to know and understand that there is a Spirit Land where you some day will come through the gateway called death into the World of Spirit."

While another comes into earth life with very little Light, none of which he is conscious of, and lives an earth earthly life, never attempting in any way or at any time to lift his Physical Consciousness beyond the earthly, to him the Light he did have before embodiment, "even that, shall be taken away."

Those last six words are misleading, for the Light is never taken away from us as we are the custodians of that Light, but it is our actions while in the physical body or while in Spirit in the Psychic or Lower Realms that causes that Light to increase or diminish, or as Jesus says, "We are the cause of our Light being bright and Brighter or dim and dimmer."

And what causes this Brightness or dimness of this Light that makes up our Spirit Auxiliary Body commonly called the Soul? There is no limit to the Brightness we can attain as the source from whence it comes, which is our own individualized God, our Eternal Spirit Self only withholds its Great Light from us if by our unwillingness, by lack of Desire or Understanding, we permit earthly things to absorb our time and attention which dims our Light. In our Auxiliary Body, which when embodied is known as the Soul, it is only possible for us to Illumine or increase its Light by and from the activities of the Physical Consciousness becoming Spiritualized. And it is through this activity (the Spiritualization of Your Physical Consciousness) that you come closer in touch with your God and draw to you a Greater abundance of your God's Light which automatically is transferred to the Soul of you and increases its Brilliance. That is what Jesus means when He said to his disciples, and says now to ALL HUMANITY, "Let Your Light Shine."

Do ye the things that will mean the most to you as they place your house of clay away. For then your Spirit, the Light that you have earned, will guide you into your Eternal Home where you will find that whereof you yourself have attained.

If you follow these words of Truth and Light there will be Nothing to fear when the call comes for you to lay aside your house of clay, for the True Knowledge is yours and as you travel along your pathway, remember that your Treasures of Heaven will be in your Eternal House waiting for you. Yes, you will be rewarded; for that will be your own reward as you come into the Great Beyond, your Treasures of Heaven, True Spiritual Knowledge and Understanding of the Light.

Jesus says, "And whereof I speak to you, I say of all the treasures in the earth world, not one of them can you bring with you through the gateway of death. So, store away as you live your earthly life, store away and use the Treasures of Heaven, the Knowledge of the Truth of the World Beyond the grave, for each one can be a Light for others to see, yes, as you become AT-ONE with that Light, you can be a Blessing to your fellow man."

What you must understand is that when in the physical body and in your Spirit Auxiliary Body, you are dangling at the end of a Ray of Light from the Eternal Part of Yourself which Jesus called "the Father," or to make it plainer and more easily understood, it is your individualized God, and from and through His Light Ray comes any quantity of Light IT deems necessary, according to your Physical Spiritual Activities. The GREATER your Spiritual Desires and Activities, the GREATER the inflow of Light from your Father which art in Heaven.

We say to you, here and now and again, Seek and ye shall Find, Knock, and the door to the Light of your God will be opened to you. The Peace you seek in your hearts and minds, that Peace that your God can and will give to you, is waiting for you.

No matter how degraded we become in our earth body or in the Lower Spirit Realms after disembodiment, there is always some Light in the Auxiliary Spirit Body as it is made of Light and cannot be destroyed. But it does grow dimmer and dimmer, even though it is still attached by that thread of Light from your God, as He waits for the Prodigal Son to cease this riotous living which diminishs his Light and turn to his God.

No matter how low you have fallen, whether in the earth realm or in the Lower Spirit Realms, Jesus' Teachings in this Little Book, as in all His Little Books, if applied, will help you to rise out of any degraded state: yes, even from the Bottomless Pit, which is the lowest of all Realms. Just put forth the EFFORT and regardless of what Realm you are in, you will find assistance from a Servant of the Light who will answer your call for assistance and help you.

Jesus says, "Some will understand, and some will not understand that when I too went teaching the Truths, there were many who did not understand. As then, so now in these days there will be those who will open their hearts and minds to know, and those who come not ready to renew. Yes some will be like those who gathered around me and had ears to hear, yet they heeded not. But those who are ready and willing to accept the Truths, they will be as in the past. They will be ready to receive, for their Spiritual Talents they can show through their words that they are willing workers spreading the Truths of Light. Then as that Light shines forth, the Spiritual Illumination of and from their Guiding Hand (their Father) will be to others an encouragement to Seek the Truth of the Light of their God. My Light and Peace I leave with thee."
